2012 Excellence in Construction Awards

INTRODUCTION

TANZANIA CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AWARDS (TCIA) is an annual event organized to acknowledge, recognize and reward outstanding completed projects in the construction industry. It provides the industry and its stakeholders with an opportunity to look back at their project-based contributions, to assess their impact on improving the industry's image to the public, and to focus on overall improvement in performance standards. This prestigious annual event rewards the excellent performers in various categories of the industry’s diversified businesses.

TCIA is organized, not only to recognize successful awardees, but also to provide challenges and set forth benchmark standards for their peers. Publicly acknowledging the awardees' excellence in performance provides a platform for higher industry standards. Through TCIA, the AEC community (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) will come together to recognize and celebrate excellence in the industry. Participants will have an opportunity to showcase their craftsmanship while they network with other industry’s stakeholders. It is an opportunity to honor AEC’s contribution to the society.

The Awards increase competitive advantages in the construction industry by adding value and quality to products for clients. TCIA serves as an incentive for contractors operating in the country to heed high standards of management, technical expertise, workmanship as well as enhancing focus on excellence.
